DATITUDE'S YEAR IN REVIEW 2021

We publish a range of content throughout the year to help and inspire you to get more out of your data and give some insight into Datitude - our team, platform, and data solutions expertise.

As we covered "year in review" emails in our last blog and 2021 is drawing to a close, we've done our own year in review to highlight the most popular content on our blog, LinkedIn page, and website this year.

Datitude on LinkedIn

Maybe not surprisingly, the most engaging content on our LinkedIn page are stories and photos of the team. Whether that was us doing our bit to support charities, having fun, good news stories, or celebrating being shortlisted for an award, you certainly showed us your love! Here are the highlights of our year on LinkedIn:

By the way, due to internal progression and continued growth, we’re looking for another First Line Support Analyst so if you know anyone who’s interested do get in touch.

  • In the Summer, our co-founders and directors (Sarah Hughes & Gavin Wilkinson) announced they were doing a charity cycle from coast to coast to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support (and subsequently raised over £7,000 thanks to the generosity of many people, including supporters of Datitude).

  • October is always a big celebratory month for us as it’s Datitude’s birthday and the co-founders’ work anniversary. As well as being a good photo opportunity for Sarah and Gavin, it’s an important time for us to acknowledge and thank our team, clients, partners and suppliers for their continued support.

  • To mark the occasion, and recognise other successes during the year, we enjoyed getting together for a team lunch. The first time in nearly 2 years!

  • Towards the end of the year, we were honoured to be joined by a very special guest and enjoyed channeling our inner Pudsey (and Blush) in support of the BBC’s annual Children in Need appeal.

Blogs

Our most read blogs are about client success stories, new platform features and team news with the top 5 being:

We added to our roster of clients in life sciences with SkinBioTherapeutics Plc choosing us to design and build the data solution to facilitate the analysis of significant data volumes for a food supplement human study. Following the positive results from the consumer study, SkinBioTherapeutics Plc have now successfully launched AxisBiotix-Ps, a dedicated food supplement for the psoriasis communities, direct to consumer.

We’ve launched a blog series where we catch up with some of our clients to shine a light on their business, find out what Datitude means to them and understand how they are using our platform to get more from their data. Our first blog in the series, featuring Natalie Gardiner from Great Little Trading Co, was so well received we’re looking forward to showcasing more of our clients as part of this series in 2022.

Excel is used extensively in business today and we recognise the importance of easy access to data using tools that people already know and love. That’s why we're proud of launching an Excel add-in in the Microsoft Store this year. We’ve made it even simpler for our platform users to run reports straight from Excel, avoiding the need to learn new, and potentially complex, BI tools.

The best team news of the year had to be James McLaughlan being promoted to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer. It’s a brilliant success story and testament to our ethos of creating the right environment to enable employees to flourish and progress.

We appreciate there are lots of very good data solutions in the marketplace and, with so much choice, it’s easy to be blown away by marketing and brand messages. Even so, like a new car, a shiny bonnet can be impressive but it’s what’s under the bonnet that really matters and, when you start looking, the reality can be very different to expectations. Datitude's client relationships and service delivery are as important to us as our data platform and data warehouse solutions and this blog explains the robust processes and systems in place to show our actual service delivery experience.

Web Content

Did you know we also publish downloadable content on our website?

This year we produced a quick guide to Deciphering Data Platforms and a special report on Data Management in Retail, both of which proved to be popular downloads.

That’s all folks! Thank you for being a part of our year. It's been fun.

We’re looking forward to sharing new content to help and inspire you to get more out of your data and provide more insight into Datitude. Make sure you follow our LinkedIn page to stay informed and keep an eye on our blog page. Our plans include more client features as part of our "Meet the Client" series, the changing cookie landscape and why 1st party data is the future, and a new series to help marketers improve their data literacy. If there’s a particular topic you’d like us to cover please email hello@datitude.co.uk.
